Rita is in Houston, TEXAS, and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Adorable Rita is such an absolute sweetheart. Rita is best described as a sweet and affectionate cuddle bug. She is the perfect moderate energy girl and would be happy with or without doggy siblings to keep her company (she will just adore her pawrents and getting loving attention). Rita has been respectful and playful with the other medium/large-sized dogs she has met in playgroups! She is the best of both worlds, able to play and run around while also being able to wind down and snuggle. Rita's ideal day would include lots of rubs, time dedicated to staring into her cute puppy eyes, and playing with her toys and her family. She also does well on car rides and would love to go grab a pup cup. She is already crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained! Rita has not had the chance to meet kids or cats while in our care. Although we found Rita after she was left in an overcrowded shelter, facing being euthanized simply due to a lack of space, she is still so loving and enamored by her people. She is outgoing, and although she can be a tad shy at first, she is truly a playful and silly pup. Just one look at her and she begins to melt your heart!
