Meet Duke! Duke came to CCHS as an owner surrender towards the beginning of this March after some unexpected life changes occurred. This handsome Weimaraner is about 4 years old and weighs roughly 112lbs currently. Duke is a proper gentleman! He loves to be active and would benefit from a furever family that shares that love for the outdoors! Don't worry though, he always takes the time to make sure everyone stays accounted for! With any rescue, training and socialization is incredibly important to the success of the dog. Apply for Duke today! The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
