Hi! My name is Lacey and I am looking for a forever home. Me and my sister Lucy were picked up by animal control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after our hold time was up, we were going to be placed on something bad called "the list". Fortunately, BCAA heard about our plight and made arrangements to get us to one of their fosters. While we are good w/ each other, we are not looking to be adopted together as we both want what we probably have never had ... love and attention (and lots of treats and good food!). We are about 18mos old (past all of that puppy foolishness) and both weigh a little under 35lbs (not too small and not too big!) and we shouldn't get any bigger. The best guess as to our breed mix is maybe a dutch shepherd as our foster mom ways we have the most thick, beautiful brindle coats. I have gotten along with the other medium-large dogs I have met and haven't paid much attention to the cats until they prance and tease when I'm in my crate. Talking about crates, I have done really well in mine without any accidents or tearing up of my bedding, but I would really prefer to be out with you. I love food and treats which you can use for training purposes if you want me and you to work on learning anything new. I am pretty good on a leash with just some pulling if I see something really interesting I want to check out.
