About Kiara
Meet Kiara, a seasoned Shepherd mix with impeccable manners and a gentle presence. At roughly 10 years old and about 70 pounds, she brings a calm, drama-free energy to any space. Kiara is fully housebroken and doesn’t need a crate—she prefers to mind her own business and settle in wherever it’s comfortable. Destructive antics are not her style, and you won’t catch her hoarding shoes or causing mischief. She gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, adapting easily to other animals with her steady temperament. Car rides are top of her list, especially with the window down, and she handles walks with ease both on and off leash. Kiara listens well and genuinely seems to enjoy human company without being needy. In the yard, she likes to go on a sniffing tour, exploring calmly before returning inside for a nap. She’s not the type to bark or escape—just happy to take it all in at her own pace. Kiara arrived to rescue needing surgery for a mammary tumor, which she handled without fuss. Now spayed and healthy, she simply needs the basics: routine checkups and lots of love. Mild arthritis doesn’t slow her down much, though she prefers that her feet stay untouched. Treats are something she’s still figuring out, but she’s definitely interested in learning more about them. Though she hasn’t lived with children before, she’s gentle and polite—there’s not a shred of aggression in her. Kiara wants a quiet home with a soft spot to rest her bones, some occasional adventures, and a family that appreciates an easygoing, well-mannered companion. No chaos here, just pure, relaxed energy. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
