Gemma had quite the journey before finding safety. After three grueling weeks on the run, she was discovered almost lifeless in a ditch and promptly rescued by animal control. With care and nourishment at the shelter, she quickly revitalized. Now in her foster home in Minnesota, she is a delightful companion, known for her affectionate nature and love of lounging with her people. Gemma gets along well with other dogs but does not seem to be a fan of cats. She is currently focused on gaining weight for her spay surgery, with a vet appointment set for April 14.
