About Romondo Handsome Adventure
Romondo is an impressive mix of Alaskan Malamute, Great Dane, and Great Pyrenees, with a dash of Siberian Husky and Australian Shepherd thrown in. At about 110 pounds and with a medium coat in black and cream, he turns heads wherever he goes—not that he minds, he loves attention. He’s happiest with his people and enjoys soaking up their affection, but he’s also made for the outdoors. Romondo would thrive on a fully fenced property where he can explore, run, and then settle down for a quiet moment just watching the world. He isn’t the type to escape or cause mischief with fencing, making him a solid outdoor companion. While Romondo is built for adventure and enjoys hikes regardless of the weather, he also loves his indoor time. He’s a cuddler at heart and will happily snuggle when it’s time to come inside. His leash manners are coming along nicely—he’s a big, strong guy, and while he pulls sometimes, his fosters have seen steady improvement. He gets excited seeing people or other dogs during walks, eager to greet them in his friendly way. Romondo does well with dogs, though he’d prefer a female dog companion or to be the only pup in the home. He’s house trained, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Kids are welcome in his world, but he isn’t a fit for homes with cats. After a rough start in a shelter, Romondo has found his groove in foster and is ready for a forever home to call his own.
