My foster mom says I must have arrived late to the husky orientation because I am much more laid back than any husky she has ever fostered. I am afraid of cats, not a prey drive hair in this body. I am also not an escape artist, in fact I am very content and in my crate and stay in there quietly when my foster is at work. I am completely house trained too! I am very chill and although I want to make friends with other dogs I am not pushy or in their faces. I am also not destructive of my beds and toys. I enjoy car rides and love human attention.especially belly rubs! I am not a fearful dog, I have been well socialized. How a cutie like me ends up in rescue? Well, my humans were very young and lived in an apartment. They had a sudden move to make and couldn’t take me with them, I adapted to my foster home quickly and have adjusted to the routine so my foster mom thinks my adopting family will be very lucky to have such a well adjusted boy. I was rescued in Texas and Im looking for a foster to adopt in the northern states. What that means is that the lucky family that wants to add me to their family has 2-3 weeks to get to know me before deciding if I am the right fit for their home. If I am not, my rescue will find me another foster to adopt up north asap. My rescue thinks is best for my humans not to feel pressured to take a decision and need time to get to know me, and need time to add me to their routine to see if we are a match before making the life decision to adopt me. I have my luggage ready to board transport and leave Texas behind! My friends and I get to be transported to East Hartford CT where our lucky new families get to pick us up to start a foster to adopt!
