Meet Delilah! Delilah is a Rottweiler estimated to be around 4 years old and weighing about 66 pounds. She came to us as a stray and is still adjusting to the shelter environment, which can feel a little overwhelming for her. Delilah can be timid and shy at first, but with patience, gentle affection, and a handful of snacks (which she absolutely loves,) she trusts and shows her sweet side. She enjoys soft pets and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can decompress and let her true, lovable personality blossom. She already knows how to “sit,” and since she’s very treat-motivated, it’s easy to win her over and continue building her confidence. She also enjoys spending time exploring the yard independently. Because of her sensitive nature, Delilah would do best in a home with older children, ages 12 and up. With patience and love, she’s sure to become a loyal and wonderful companion.
