About Sparky
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Sparky is a 7-year-old, small but mighty, 30-pound dynamo with a true zest for life! His energy is infectious, and whether he's lighting up the room or curling up for a cozy nap, Sparky brings spark and joy wherever he goes. Previously cherished by a family who sadly couldn't take him along when they moved, he's now eager to shower his next family with all the love and loyalty he's learned. As a very smart boy, Sparky thrives with structure and routine—if he were younger, he'd undoubtedly be top of the class. With his mature, endearing Miniature Pinscher and Rottweiler looks and a short, handsome black and brown coat, he's truly the full package. Sparky's perfect home is one that is calm and stable—he would do best in an adult-only house, ideally with a fenced yard so he can enjoy his beloved walks and playtime. He's house trained, knows his manners, and is friendly with other dogs, but prefers not to share his space with cats or young children, as quick movements can make him nervous. Movie night on the couch? He's absolutely there for it—and for all the snuggles! Since Sparky is working on his separation anxiety in foster care, his dream family would be home a lot and able to provide patient reassurance and companionship. Fun fact: Sparky is a Sagittarius, which means adventure and loyalty are in his stars! Start your journey together! Apply now.
