About Kai
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Kai arrived at the rescue in June of 2025 after spending only a short time with his previous owners, and his early life involved being passed from one family to another. Despite this uncertain start, Kai embodies the spirit of a goofy pup in a fully grown body, always eager to dive headfirst into whatever adventure comes his way. His zest for life is contagious, and he’s constantly ready for fun and games. Recently, Kai has been working hard on learning impulse control and improving his manners, and he’s made noticeable progress with consistent training. An experienced dog owner would be an ideal match for Kai to help him continue developing his social skills and rewarding him for his enthusiastic personality. While Kai enjoys the company of other dogs, he sometimes struggles with boundaries and can be a little overwhelming, but his playful nature shines through. As an adventure buddy, he’s sure to keep your days active, filled with energy, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. Kai was born on June 22, making him a Cancer—this means he’s likely to be a loyal, loving companion with a soft spot for home comforts. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
