PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION MAPLE IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR DES MOINES, IOWA. Maple originally came to rescue from a small rural pound in Oklahoma where she had landed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. She was adopted but recently returned to rescue when her adopter’s circumstances changed and she could no longer provide the time and activity Maple needs. Maple is now looking for a family who can give her the attention and active lifestyle she thrives in. Maple is a sweet, happy girl with a big love for people and other dogs. She enjoys walks, playing fetch, chewing on her bully sticks, and soaking up lots of belly rubs. She’s a classic “Velcro dog” who loves being near her people and also enjoys playing with her doggy friends. Maple is potty trained and does well in a crate when needed, though she doesn’t typically sleep in one. She walks nicely on leash and does best using a front-clip harness. Maple already knows several commands including sit, lay down, stay, and off. She still has some playful puppy energy and would do well with continued structure and activity. Because she loves other dogs so much, she may especially thrive in a home with another playful dog companion. Maple is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
