About Bread Basket
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Bread Basket, affectionately called "BB," is a striking black-and-white adult cat whose playful yet independent spirit shines through. From her early days on the street to bravely raising five kittens just hours after rescue, BB has shown nothing but courage and resilience. Now that her kittens are grown, she's ready to find a home where she can feel truly secure and loved. BB enjoys rolling her ball-in-track toy, exploring tunnels, and surveying the world from her cat tower. While she appreciates gentle pets, she prefers things on her own terms, only tolerating minimal handling and rarely being held—firm handling is her comfort zone if necessary. With time and a calm environment, you'll find her quiet affection is worth the wait. She hasn't yet met other pets or children in rescue, so a peaceful home without too much hustle and bustle will help her thrive. Bread Basket is fully litter trained, spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on her vaccinations. Since she was born on June 11, she's a curious Gemini—expect plenty of playful moments! She is waiting for someone who can appreciate her journey from fierce street mom to beloved companion.
