About Bread Basket

Bread Basket, or "BB," is a striking black-and-white adult cat with a calm, independent spirit and a playful edge. She’s come a long way since her difficult start outdoors, adapting to indoor life with remarkable resilience. Shortly after coming into rescue, she gave birth to five kittens and took to motherhood with dedication and care. Now that her kittens have found their own paths, it’s BB’s time to enjoy comfort and attention. BB enjoys batting her ball-in-track toy, hanging out in tunnels, and relaxing atop her cat tower. She is fully litter trained and values her independence, but she will welcome pets once she trusts you. She dislikes being handled excessively and prefers firm, minimal holding, so patience will go a long way in gaining her trust. BB hasn’t spent time with other cats, dogs, or kids, so a quiet, low-stress home is best for her. She is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and current on age-appropriate vaccines. Bread Basket is looking for someone willing to accept her boundaries and provide a stable environment where she can relax and thrive. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
