We were asked to help a fellow rescue down south with a group of 10 puppies, and of course we said yes! After quite the journey, these little cuties have officially made their way here and are ready to start their search for forever homes. Meet Darla of the “D” Litter — 3 girls and 7 boys who are absolutely stinking cute. These pups were found living under a shed, filthy and covered in fleas, doing their best to survive. Thankfully, kind rescuers were able to safely round up all ten puppies and get them to safety. Sadly, their momma dog took off before she could be caught, so she’s still out there and we hope she eventually finds help too. The puppies are about 8 weeks old and currently 4–6 lbs, so we’re guessing they’ll grow into “smedium” sized dogs — the perfect in-between size! As for breed? Your guess is as good as ours. We lovingly call them Texas Supermutts. Mom was reportedly a brown dog who may have been a boxer/pit mix, and she had been spotted hanging around with both a chihuahua and a husky, so dad is truly a mystery. The puppies vary in looks too- some you wouldn't even think were related! What we do know for sure is that these pups are 100% adorable and ready to start the next chapter of their lives with families who will love them forever.
