About Shasta Gail
Shasta Gail is the definition of a loving, lively pup. At 11 months old, this large boxer mix has a striking brindle coat and weighs in around 30 lbs. Shasta got her start in life under a church, rescued alongside her siblings and her mother when just a few weeks old. She stands out as a strong yet social young dog, showing a bit of bossiness balanced by a loyal heart—she plays hard with her siblings and welcomes other dogs, painting a picture of a canine who thrives in company. Life with Shasta is full of movement. She loves to jog, catch a ball, and take in the world on car rides. A clever thinker, she picks up routines quickly but will still need continued leash work and help with her basic commands. Her upbringing has left her feeling comfortable in a crate, whether for play or for sleep, and she reliably lets you know when it’s time for a bathroom break—no indoor accidents here. While she’s never lived with cats, she’s currently in a home with plenty of canine companions. Shasta is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP), and microchipped. She would be happiest in a safe, loving home, ideally with children, though that's not a dealbreaker—her main requirement is plenty of affection, structure, and a reliable routine.
