About Sharae Jo
Sharae Jo, or Dora the explorer as she’s sometimes called, is an 11-month-old, fawn-coated boxer mix who’s always curious and keen to check out every corner. Rescued as a tiny pup with her family, Sharae has grown into an energetic, loving, and fiercely independent dog. She’s shy around new dogs at first but gives them a chance once she gets comfortable. Sharae currently lives with her mom, siblings, and a Lab, and while she hasn’t met any cats yet, she’s shown herself to be adaptable. Water is her thing—give her a puppy pool and she’s happy. She’s clever, enjoys car rides, and thrives outdoors. She’s partially crate trained and doesn’t potty indoors, letting you know when it’s time to go out. Sharae will do best with ongoing leash work and learning her basics. She’s vaccinated, microchipped, and scheduled for spay in June 2025. Sharae would fit right in with a family who wants an active, affectionate, and smart dog and is open to giving her the time and guidance she deserves. Kids are welcome, but not a deal-breaker.
