HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally save from a shelter many years ago, and just this past summer, I was rescued from a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me and be patient, while I get adjusted to being loved. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health. I weigh about 60 lbs.
