About Dobby!

Dobby! has seen plenty of closed doors and short-term stops but never a true home of his own. He came up as a puppy at a shelter, stuck around longer than any other dog, then bounced between fosters and even spent a year in boarding. Every time Dobby thought he'd finally made it, another shift sent him back into limbo. Through it all, Dobby! has kept his soft outlook, always ready with affection, eager for a walk, and grateful for a kind word. He's past the puppy chaos and brings solid manners to the table: crate trained, potty trained, good with people and other dogs, and calm on leash. Dobby! has no behavior issues, thanks to steady work with trainers; he just needs the one thing he’s never had—a stable, lasting place where he can truly settle in. He gets along with other dogs and children, and loves to play or curl up on the couch for a lazy night. Dobby! isn't just ready for his own people—he’s overdue. The rescue will even drive him up to 12 hours roundtrip to help him land where he belongs. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
