Rue is both beautiful and super sweet. She was brought into rescue when she was discovered in a homeless person's tent during January's extreme cold and snow. Rue quickly became a favorite with her foster parents. She loves to be held and cuddled, and she gets along well with the other cats in the house. Rue is very appreciative of a warm bed and a full tummy at last! Rue is a 2.5 yr old calico. Rue tested positive for FIV or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Don’t let that scare you. With proper nutrition and veterinary care, FIV positive cats live a long, healthy life like any normal cat. FIV is also very hard to transmit to other kitties and can only be passed through a deep bite wound. As long as the cats in the home get along, Rue is totally fine to live with FIV negative cats!
