Nessie is a lovely young calico female cat of slight build, who came to us after being rescued along with several kittens. Once she arrived, she received a fresh start with the help of our loving volunteers. Since she has been with us, we have gotten her health in order, and now she enjoys all the comforts in one of our beautiful young-cat rooms. She will not be the first at the door to greet, but once she knows you and if you offer a lap gently, when she feels safe, she will happily relax and lean into pets, seaking affection. She also enjoys being brushed, but you must tell her how beautiful she is, all the while. Her easygoing demeanor makes her a wonderful companion who could do well with other gentle pets, or she would be just as content being the cherished center of attention as an only cat. With her unique calico coat, soulful eyes, and tender personality, Nessie is simply a lovely lady, and she is ready to bring warmth and grace to her forever home! DOB: 2/2023 Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org. All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
