Sprout is a little over a year old and weighs just about 8 pounds—a tiny sweetheart who is happiest curled up exactly where she belongs: in your lap. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her just a few minutes and her personality quickly blooms. Before long she’ll be rolling over for tummy rubs and happily soaking up all the affection she can get. Sprout is house trained, cat friendly, and does well with other small dogs, though she hasn’t been around larger dogs yet. At bedtime she may give a tiny protest about going into her crate, but after a few minutes she settles in and relaxes. Sprout is missing her back left paw, but you’d never know it by the way she moves through the world—it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She zooms around the house, manages stairs like a champ, and easily hops on and off the couch or bed. When she’s not cuddling, Sprout enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, chewing on her favorite little bone, and spending much of her day snoozing like the professional napper she is. Small, resilient, and full of love, Sprout is ready to grow into someone’s perfect little companion. Sprout is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Sprout’s adoption fee is $400.00.
