Ellie Mae is a precious 7‐year‐old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing 11.6 pounds, and she's ready to find a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished again. This sweet girl came to a local animal control after her owner passed away. She arrived with another dog, but while family members reclaimed that one, Ellie Mae was sadly left behind. Despite all the change and loss she's experienced, she has remained gentle, affectionate, and incredibly resilient. She has done wonderfully with the other dogs here at the facility and has shown nothing but kindness and calm companionship. Our veterinary team has given her a clean bill of health, and her adoption fee is $300. Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, every animal receives: Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age-appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
