About Ricky
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Ricky! Ricky recently arrived in the Pacific Northwest as part of a rescue effort for a large group of small-breed dogs from California's Central Valley, many of which came from a challenging hoarding situation. Now safe and cared for, Ricky is part of a new chapter full of comfort and love—and he's ready to find a home that will let him truly shine! As a Chihuahua mix, Ricky is a sweet, loving pup who enjoys being near his people but is also comfortable with a little independence. He's playful and enjoys a good game of fetch, showing both a friendly and gentle personality. Ricky is adjusting well to his foster environment. He's doing incredibly well with kennel time, is almost fully potty trained, and is working on basic commands, which might require a patient or training-minded adopter. He does well in the car and has shown a positive attitude with new routines. While his full personality is still emerging as he settles, Ricky is ready for adopters who are willing to help him continue blossoming in a caring environment. Did you know Ricky is an Aquarius? Aquarians are known for their intelligence and unique charm—a perfect match for this little guy! Your new best friend is just one click away.
