Meet Xena & Aria Two babies. Thrown away like they didn't matter. Left to starve. Left in pain. Left to die. Thankfully, our incredible team was able to capture them just in time. When they arrived at the vet, we learned these girls are only about 5 months old. Both were suffering from scabies (contagious mange) and were full of worms. Their little bodies had been fighting so much for far too long. We immediately started treatment with Bravecto to eliminate the mites and Drontal to clear the worms. They also received a much-needed medicated bath. Just four days later, these brave girls are officially cleared of mites and worms! Their skin still has a long way to go. They're covered in dry, scabby sores, and their skin is flaky as their bodies work hard to heal and grow their hair back. But every day they look a little better, and their spirits are already shining. Here's what we've learned about them so far: Very playful A little jealous of each other (they both want ALL the love!) Incredibly sweet So grateful for kindness You can see it in their eyes - they know they were saved. And now they know they are loved. Now that they are healthy and no longer contagious, Xena & Aria need a foster or forever home! We aren't exactly sure what breed they are yet (kind of hard to tell without hair! ), but we do know they are going to grow into beautiful, loving companions.
