About Honey
Honey is a medium-sized, apricot-colored pittie mix who’s happiest when she’s curled up next to her favorite person. She’s eager to share the couch and snacks, and she’ll never say no to a quiet movie night together. Outgoing and playful, Honey flourishes on walks and hikes, and she’s accustomed to pack playgroups with other dogs—she generally enjoys canine company. She grew up with a young child and has a special fondness for kids. Honey bonds especially fast with women and children but can warm up to men with a little patience. She’s house trained, crate trained, spayed, vaccinated, and settling into routines comes easily for her. Honey does tend to resource guard her closest people, so her new family should introduce visitors slowly and work with her on this over time. Honey has met cats and, while it’s possible for her to live with them, she’ll need a slow introduction and supervision. If you’re looking for an affectionate, slightly quirky companion who’s ready to give her loyalty to a gentle home, Honey could be a great fit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
