Hello, my name is: Scraggles Approx. DOB: 03/12/2023 Sex/Breed: Spayed female terrier mix Weight: 40 lbs Rescued from: Found stray Scraggles was a street dog and she is a survivor. After spending her life on the streets, having litter after litter of puppies and having to fend for herself, Scraggles was finally captured and brought to safety. She’s received the care and protection she has deserved all along and really enjoys being a pet. Scraggles isn’t an overly affectionate dog, but she is very kind. While she prefers to lay in a dog bed by herself, she always chooses to be in the same room as the family. Scraggles gets along with other dogs and even enjoys short play sessions with dogs she trusts. Overly rambunctious or rowdy dogs aren’t her cup of tea, but who could blame her after everything she’s been through? Her foster family has reported that she has been a lovely house guest without being destructive. And she seems house trained too. Her independent personality isn’t a surprise given she was on her own for so long, however she’s made it very clear that the life of a house pet is far preferential to life on the streets. We can’t wait to see her reach her full potential once she’s settled in with her forever family. Who will give this curious, scruffy girl the forever home she so desperately deserves??
