Meet Penny - smart, curious, and pretty enough to be the star of her own sitcom. At 1 year old and about 25 pounds, Penny is the perfect medium-sized companion with a playful personality and a sweet spirit. She recently arrived from a North Louisiana rescue and is still settling in while we get to know her better. Penny has the cutest little face with warm, expressive eyes and soft tan coloring with darker shading along her back. Her alert ears and curious expression make it clear she's always interested in what's happening around her. So far, Penny has been friendly with both dogs and cats. She's heartworm negative, up to date on vet care, and is scheduled to be spayed soon. At just a year old, Penny is at that wonderful age where she's still young, playful, and ready for adventures, but past the tiny puppy stage. She would love a home where she can continue to learn, explore, and build a strong bond with her people. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
