Meet Frank - your new adventure buddy with a heart of gold! Frank is a handsome, 45-pound young adult who was found wandering as a stray in Crowley, Louisiana, but you'd never guess it from his easygoing, friendly nature. At about one year old, he's past the tiny puppy stage and settling nicely into that wonderful "young adult" phase-playful, curious, and ready to learn. Frank is wonderfully social. He enjoys people, gets along well with other dogs, and is completely unbothered by cats, making him a fantastic candidate for a multi-pet home. He has a bright, intelligent mind and picks things up quickly. He has an athletic build and would love daily walks, yard time, or adventures with his humans, but he's not over-the-top hyper. After activity, he's happy to relax and soak up companionship. Frank bonds easily and seems eager to be someone's loyal sidekick. Frank is the kind of dog who will thrive with gentle guidance, consistency, and love. In return, he offers devotion, charm, and that classic soulful gaze that makes you feel like you've always been his person. Frank is up to date on vaccines and will be neutered by the rescue. He tested a low positive for heartworm disease but is already being treated and is expected to soon be cured and ready for fun and adventure. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
