Meet Delightful Derrick Hi… I’m Derrick. Some people say I’m pure black — like midnight, like a shiny onyx stone, like the softest shadow that follows you everywhere. But I promise… I’m anything but dark inside. My heart is all sunshine. I’m a Black Lab / Pug mix , 14 weeks old and only 12 pounds right now — a tiny little puff of black fluff. When I curl up in your arms, I look like a warm, velvety cloud. My fur is soft and glossy, and when the light hits it just right, it shines like silk. I am still young to be neutered but am vaccinated, microchipped, and house-trained. I live with my foster family in Ridgefield, WA and am available for adoption in Washington or Oregon and also can travel to Vancouver,BC for the right family. My adoption fee is $800USD. They say I’ll grow to be about 15–25 pounds — the perfect size to be your adventure buddy and your couch companion. Big enough to keep up with life, small enough to fit perfectly in your lap. Sometimes black puppies get overlooked. Maybe because we don’t stand out in photos the way lighter pups do. But I promise you… if you look into my eyes, you’ll see a spark. A sweetness.
