About Spirit
Spirit came to the shelter as a stray from Hwy 508 in Onalaska, and although his past isnāt clear, heās hoping to start a new story with a family of his own. Heās a large, black Pit Lab mixāheavy on the Lab charm and stocky Pit Bull frameāestimated at about 4 to 5 years old. Spirit weighs around 70 lbs, and has shown himself to be drawn to people, displaying affection with his signature face kisses and a strong desire for attention. Since Spirit spent time as a stray, he will need some work on his basic commands, so an adopter ready to teach and provide some structure would be ideal. He hasnāt expressed much interest in other dogs at the shelter, but with slow introductions he could settle into the right pack. Heās already neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations, so all heās missing is someone willing to open up their home to a loyal companion. Spirit would make a devoted addition to a family willing to give him the time, structure, and gentle patience he needs to adapt. Spirit is in Chehalis, WA. Ready to meet your new best friend?
