Not Bobby. Not Rob. Robert. An 8-year-old brown tabby with the name — and personality — of a man who probably has a favorite chair and strong opinions about dinner being late. Robert has had a tough year. After his beloved owner (and best friend) passed away, he moved in with a family member. When life changed again and they had to move, Robert found himself at The Animal Care Shelter for Kent County looking for a fresh start. Despite it all, Robert remains very much himself… which is to say, he’s convinced he’s a person. He’s quite the chatty guy and will happily keep up a running conversation about your day, his dinner schedule, and whatever other important topics arise. Robert doesn’t seem particularly impressed with other cats (he has standards, after all), but he has previously lived with dogs and done well. What Robert really needs is a home that appreciates a quirky, talkative roommate in cat form.
