At under a year old and a perfect 35 lbs, Higgins is that magical medium size: big enough for adventures, small enough to fit perfectly curled beside you on the couch after a long day of important dog business. Higgins is a social butterfly with other dogs and loves having canine friends to romp around with. Playtime, wrestling matches, and general backyard shenanigans are all very high on his list of favorite activities. He’s still a young guy, so he has that joyful puppy energy and curiosity about the world, every walk is basically a field trip and every toy is the best toy he’s ever seen. Because Higgins thinks small animals are a little too interesting, he’s looking for a home without cats or other small critters. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date.
