About Ronnie
Ronnie is about 3 years old, around 67 pounds, and best described as a large, slightly clumsy, extremely lovable living teddy bear. He’s likely some sort of bully-breed mix, but mostly he’s just… Ronnie. When he enters a room, he doesn’t walk in politely, he barrels in like a happy bowling ball and launches himself straight into your arms for a hug. Personal space? Ronnie has never heard of it and sees no reason to start now. His favorite activities include snuggling, leaning his entire body weight into people, and occasionally doing a few joyful zoomies before deciding that was plenty of exercise for the day. After that, he’s perfectly happy to settle in next to you like a giant lap dog. Right now we’re working through a few skin issues, but otherwise this boy is as sweet as they come. Ronnie didn’t have the easiest start in life. He and his sister were poisoned before coming to us, and heartbreakingly she didn’t survive. Ronnie fought his way through and pulled through like the resilient boy he is. Now all we want is for him to finally get the safe, loving life he should have had from the very beginning—one filled with soft beds, belly rubs, and people who are happy to smush that adorable face every single day.
