Heidi is about 1–2 years old and we’re fairly certain she may be part dog, part professional greeter, and part full-time comedian. Every single photo of Heidi shows her grinning ear to ear, like she just heard the best joke ever and can’t wait to share it with you. Add in her adorable half-blue eye and you’ve got a dog that people instantly fall in love with. Her favorite hobby? Hugs. Heidi believes very strongly that all greetings should include a full embrace. If you stand still for even a moment, she’ll politely (and enthusiastically) jump up to wrap her paws around you for a squeeze. She just has a lot of love to give and prefers to deliver it in large, joyful doses. Heidi gets along well with other dogs, loves to stay active, and brings a big, goofy energy everywhere she goes. Around here, we’re all completely smitten with her silly personality and endless smiles. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
