It's obvious that life hasn't always been kind to her. Because of what she's been through, Sasha is very nervous and unsure of the world around her. She's still learning that humans can be gentle, patient, and loving. Every day she takes small, brave steps forward as she begins to understand that she's finally safe. Despite everything, there is a soft, sweet dog inside Sasha who just wants to feel secure. She will need a very patient, understanding home that will give her the time and kindness she needs to continue healing — both physically and emotionally. Watching Sasha slowly learn to trust is incredibly special. The person who gives her that chance will get to see a scared dog blossom into a loyal, loving companion.
