About Junior
Junior is a 10-month-old mixed-breed pup tipping the scales at about 62 pounds, and he’s just learning how to be a dog. He’s young, eager to please, and happiest when chasing after a ball—fetch is his calling, and he takes it seriously. He’s picking up the basics of crate training and is still figuring out leash walks, so plenty of patience and some continued practice will go a long way. Junior is happiest right with his people, always ready to tag along and keep you company, whether you’re bustling around the house or relaxing on the couch. He learns commands quickly and loves cuddles almost as much as playing outside. Junior has previously lived with two dogs and an older child and did fine, but he’s nervous around young kids. The affectionate, gentle side of this sweet boy shines through the most when he’s curled up for a nap after a hard day’s play. Born July 17, Junior is a Cancer—the sign of loyal homebodies. He’s ready to steal your heart if you let him. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Junior
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Junior, being a mixed-breed dog of a large size, would thrive in a home with space to move around and an environment where he can be part of daily family activity. He needs room for play and companionship most of all.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Junior’s large, energetic nature means he’ll do best with a secure yard or regular access to open outdoor space like parks.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Junior has lived with an older child and did well, but he is fearful of young children, so a home with adults or older kids is recommended.
