While other dogs were picked up and taken home, Shaggy stayed behind — waiting, watching the door, hoping it would finally be his turn. But even after being abandoned, Shaggy hasn’t let it harden his heart. He is still the happiest, most loving boy, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a big goofy smile. And once you notice him, it’s impossible to forget him. Shaggy has a stunning merle coat that looks like it was painted with silver and charcoal, and the most mesmerizing eyes — one bright blue and one warm brown — that seem to look straight into your soul. But it’s not just his looks that make him special. Shaggy is a sweet, affectionate dog who absolutely loves other dogs. He thrives with canine friends and enjoys playing, exploring, and just being part of the pack. He’s also incredibly loving with people and happiest when he’s near someone who cares about him. Despite everything he’s been through, Shaggy still believes people are good. Now he just needs someone to prove him right.
