second time posting him in hopes we can find his forever :( Donkey has been waiting for his forever home since the day he was born, and somehow this sweet boy keeps getting overlooked. He started life in a rural rescue situation and has come such a long way since then. After moving into foster care he’s learned what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a home, and he is so ready to finally have one of his own. Donkey has lots of dog friends and does well with other dogs, but he will need a home without cats. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and knows his basic cues, making him an easy addition to a family. He’s incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores his people. If you sit down, he’ll happily settle nearby just to be close to you. He’s a lower energy guy who enjoys going for walks and exploring, but his favorite activity is honestly just relaxing and napping near the people he loves. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly keep you company, rest his head near you, and remind you every day how grateful he is to be safe. What breaks our hearts is that Donkey has been waiting his entire life for someone to choose him. He watches other dogs come and go while he’s still here hoping his turn will come.
