Dobby is a free dog! I got my name because of my big ears – and because my rescue story reminded my humans of a little house-elf who didn’t always have it easy, either. Now I’m safe, warm, fed, and finding out what it means to be loved – and I’m ready to keep that going forever. I’m a soft-hearted pittie who loves balls, squeaky toys, and cozy cuddles with my humans. I’m potty trained, walk nicely on leash, and I’m great with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. I also do really well in my kennel and sometimes choose it myself when I want to relax. I wear some scars from my past, including one on my face that’s still healing and my unique little tail nub - but they just show how strong I am. Right now, I’m gaining weight, gaining confidence, staying warm in my favorite coats, and learning that life can be pretty magical. All I need now is a forever home where I can have my happily-ever-after.
