About Benji
Benji is a tan, happy puppy with floppy ears and a mix of cattle dog and lab in his bloodline. Around 6 months old, he’s all about energy and fun—zooming around the yard, wrestling with other pups, or tracking down treats. Despite being found abandoned with his best friend Janie, Benji’s cheerful and loving personality never took a hit. He thrives around other dogs and will need a canine companion in his new home to keep his confidence growing and to share in the daily adventures. Benji gets along well with cats, doesn’t bother the foster’s chickens, and is expected to do well with children. He’s smart, eager to learn, and very motivated by food, but still working on house and crate training. Benji’s learning how to settle on his own but enjoys company, especially from other dogs. Benji’s vaccinations are current, and his neuter is coming up soon. He’ll be ready to move into his forever home after 5/14, perfect for a family excited about puppy antics, outdoor explorations, and plenty of cuddle time. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

Questions about Benji
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A dog like Benji benefits from a good amount of outdoor space—a yard or access to parks for regular exercise helps burn off his puppy energy and keeps him well balanced.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labrador Retriever mixes like Benji are generally great with kids. They tend to be gentle, tolerant, and enjoy playtime, making them solid family companions.
