Bertha is a darling 2‐year‐old Chihuahua weighing just 10.7 pounds, and she's ready to find a forever home of her very own. She's a sweet, affectionate little girl with a fun spark of energy that makes her an absolute joy to be around. Bertha originally came to us as a heavily pregnant stray. Just two days after arriving, she gave birth to five beautiful puppies. She was a wonderful, attentive mama, and now that her puppies are weaned and she has been spayed, it's finally her turn to be the one cared for and cherished. Her adoption fee is $450. Our veterinary team has given her a clean bill of health. She does wonderfully with other small dogs and loves zipping around the play yards with her friends. Her personality is the perfect blend of sweetness and spunk. Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, every animal receives: Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age-appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
