He is a calm, gentle, and quiet little guy with a gorgeous, shiny coat. Lazzie loves to spend his days lounging and cuddling on the bed with the other dogs and with his people. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He currently lives with a little chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie. He has been to an adoption event at a local bar, where he enjoyed socializing and making new friends! His pup friends from the rescue were with him, which gave him confidence to embrace the adventure. He was very sweet and gentle with every stranger he met. Russie Laz came to the rescue, covered in mange and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. He had clearly never had proper veterinary treatment or basic care from an owner. He was found in a ditch full of trash, all by himself in the brutal Texas elements. Now, he is healthy and strong, and strikingly handsome. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource for staying informed about tracking dogs in transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed is based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
