Once on the euthanasia list, Romeo didn’t let his story end there… Now he's now thriving in foster care and ready to write his next chapter with a family of his own. This sweet boy is as friendly as they come. Romeo loves making new dog friends (big or small!) and brings a gentle, easygoing vibe wherever he goes. He’s curious about the world but never pushy, and even with cats around, he’s more of a “live and let live” kind of guy. Total gentleman energy. Romeo has the best little personality quirks too… when he gets excited, he does the cutest bouncy hops like a real-life Tigger, guaranteed to make you smile every single time. He loves his toys, lives for a good pup cup, and is always ready for an adventure… or a nap right by your side. He’s kennel trained, house trained, and has great manners (minus his strong opinion about rainy days—he’d very much prefer a sunshine schedule ☀️). He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys car rides after his initial excitement, and is already learning commands like “sit” and “stay.” With a little guidance, he’s going to be an absolute star. At the end of the day, Romeo isn’t asking for much… just a family to love him, laugh at his silly hops, and let him be part of their everyday life. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
