About Ross
Age: 3 years Weight: 12lbs Ross is a sweet, playful fluff ball looking for his forever home. His favorite thing in the world is belly rubs - he will roll over and beg for pets. He loves being close to his people and spends most of the day snoozing in whatever room his foster mom is in. He is very food motivated and prefers toys like kongs that keep his mind and his mouth busy. The Big Apple is a big change from his previous life in Texas, and he is still getting used to walking on the busy NYC streets. He does not like to be around other dogs while on a leash, and sometimes gets nervous when approached by runners or bikers. Nevertheless, he loves going for long walks and sticking to quieter areas. Ross has been a champ getting used to apartment living. He notices sounds outside but is not a barker. He is crate trained and house trained. He is friendly with adults, but prefers off-leash introductions. Small children make him nervous, but he may do well with older children who are gentle and respect his boundaries Once he gets to know you, he is a loyal, snuggly boy who wants to be by your side all day long. Ross would be happiest as the only dog in an adult-only household. If he’s adopted by a family living in the city, he will do best with someone who has the patience to continue helping him build confidence on a leash in an urban environment. Ross is an easygoing and happy boy, and the perfect companion! INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
