About Millie
Millie is a gentle Pekingese who found her way into a Queens backyard, needing some TLC. Though her vision is poor, Millie quickly adapts if you approach and pet her from the side—she enjoys the attention and loves a good butt scratch. This small lady has proven calm and patient, often sitting quietly for treats or waiting her turn. Since being rescued, she’s had a much-needed grooming and now looks even more charming. Millie gets along well with other small dogs and doesn’t bother the cats in her foster environment. She’s working on house training, using pads but also showing a preference for going outside when possible. She doesn’t know her name yet, so you can make it your own. Vet checks are all clear, and while she needs a bit of extra guidance due to her eyesight, Millie’s gentle temperament stands out. Her main need is a caring home with patience and affection.
