Rocky is Up For Adoption here at Shiba Rescue of New Jersey. Unfortunately due to circumstances, Rocky is back with us and is available for adoption. Rocky was too active for the resident dog who was much older than him and it was stressing her out. Rocky is maybe a year old. He is full of energy. He can be a bit standoffish when he initially meets you but once he gets to know you, he will warm up to you. Rocky is extremely affectionate once he gets to know you. He will give you kisses and will nuzzle into you. He likes to play with toys and will play fetch with a ball. He walks very well on a leash and loves to go for walks. He does well on car rides. He also loves to run and do zoomies in the enclosed fenced yard. We feel Rocky will do best as the only dog in the household. No Cats. Adult Only home is best or children 14+ years old is okay. We would prefer adopters to be Shiba experienced. Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He knows the command "Sit" and responds beautifully to it.
