Milo is an 8-year-old, 21-pound Shiba Inu mix with a relaxed, happy energy. He warms up to kids and tolerates other dogs, but prefers having his people and space to himself. Milo is housebroken if kept on schedule and is comfortable in a crate. He enjoys a good play session or fetch in a secure, fenced yard, and he takes leashed walks with a harness. Milo’s favorite things include toys and curling up with the people he trusts most—he’s affectionate, loyal, and easygoing. Milo’s ideal home has a secure fenced yard and active owners who will provide structure, consistency, and continue his basic training. His foster stresses these requirements are not negotiable; only homes meeting them will be considered. Priority will be given to local adopters able to do required home checks and meet-and-greets for a smooth transition. Like all dogs, Milo should have at least two weeks settling in with just his household before meeting new people, giving him space to relax and adjust.
