Meet Phoebe, a one-year-old Border Terrier and Schnauzer mix. This sweet little pup was found as a stray in Texas, but you would never guess it from her gentle nature and affectionate personality. Phoebe is the kind of dog who is just happy to be near her people. She does wonderfully with toddlers and enjoys the company of other playful dogs. Phoebe loves toys and is perfectly content entertaining herself for a while, which makes her a nice balance of playful and easygoing. When it is time for a walk, she is easy to manage on a leash, and when the day winds down she sleeps quietly in her crate through the night like a champ. Phoebe is still learning the ropes of life in a home and is currently working on her house training. With a consistent routine and a little patience, this smart girl is sure to catch on quickly. She just needs a family willing to guide her and cheer her on as she learns. Phoebe is a loyal, loving companion who is ready to trade her stray days for a safe and happy home. They arrive in Minnesota on 3/21/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.
