Phoenix is an absolute gem of a guy. He is very mellow and goes with the flow. While he's a little timid and shy of new things, he is brave and adjusts to new experiences quickly. He likes to explore the yard and sniff out new smells while you watch and provide a safe home base if needed. He's an A+ snuggler and is content to cozy up while you watch your favorite show. He enjoys following my 7 yo dog around the yard, copying whatever she does. He settles in his crate at night but is a little anxious when left alone and will howl when crated during the day so will need work to overcome this behavior. He is somewhat food motivated and is responsive to very early stages of obedience training. He is closely supervised and goes potty outside but may need some potty training. He does not mark inside the home. Phoenix is not leash trained and will need someone patient to help him learn this important skill. Phoenix is a little love bug and will be the most dedicated, bestest friend for you!
