About Voltaire
Voltaire is such a handsome fella! He came to us really shut down and scared, but he has made amazing progress and is now a sweet cuddle bug. He has the biggest purr and although he is not terribly high energy, he will go bonkers when you get out a feather wand. He can jump higher than any cat I’ve ever seen! And he is very loving. His happy place is next to his person. He does have a darling little companion in Louisa (also ready for her forever home). They love each other, but he would do fine with another kitty. I think he will just need a little time to adjust. New things can worry him a bit but with a little time he’ll come around and just be the most wonderful companion ever! He is so incredibly loving and lovable. He is a very special guy, indeed! He will likely be very nervous during our adoption event as he needs some quiet adjustment time. He would also do best in a more calm home environment.Meet Louisa and Voltaire by completing the adoption application and a meet and greet can be coordinated. They will also be attending our adoption event on Saturday, 12-4pm, at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee for a pair of kittens (under 1 yr of age). All cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
