About Capuchin

Click apply to start the adoption process. Capuchin is a precious and adorable Calico kitten who will absolutely melt your heart. With her boundless spunk and endless curiosity, she lights up any room she enters. Watching her explore new toys is a delight, especially when she’s dashing joyfully through tunnels. Though Capuchin has an adventurous spirit, she is also deeply affectionate and loving—her purrs are practically nonstop. She’s the definition of a sweet kitten! If you are looking for the perfect pair, Capuchin and her companion Marmoset are inseparable, while their sister Tamarin prefers a bit more independence. Capuchin and her siblings need special adopters, as they require lifelong over-the-counter lubricating eye drops twice a day due to a congenital condition where they were born without upper eyelids. Capuchin has shown incredible resilience: after starting life with serious eye infections and being bottle-fed as a tiny kitten, she has thrived after specialized medical care, including removal of her left eye and corrective cryotherapy so her fur won’t irritate her remaining eye. Although her vision may slowly decline over time, Capuchin adapts beautifully. She is spayed, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed, kept current on all vaccines, and started on flea preventative. You can meet Capuchin, Marmoset, and Tamarin at Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville. They are sure to bring joy to any loving home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
